34th International Geological Congress - 2nd to 10th August 2012
On April 24th 2009 - Carillon was appointed to the position of Conference Manager for the 34th International Geological Congress.
The Congress will be staged at the
highly acclaimed Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, a world
class venue that has hosted numerous large and very successful
international meetings. Brisbane offers great August weather, value for
money and proximity to geo-tourist features such as the Great Barrier
Reef.
AUSTRALIA 2012 will include a
GeoExpo, an education outreach program, and a support program to
encourage young delegates to attend. The IGC will demonstrate the
crucial role that geoscience plays in the quest for sustainable
development and show how geoscience contributes directly to the future
of its resource-based industries, land and water management and
mitigation of geohazards.
We expect over 5000 delegates to attend the 34th IGC in Brisbane in 2012 making it the largest scientific conference ever held in Queensland and among the largest scientific congresses in the world.

Australasian Drug Strategy Conference - 8-11 March 2010
The Victoria Police have appointed Carillon to manage the 5th
Australasian Drug Strategy Conference to be held at the soon to open
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 4th ADSC also managed
by CCM was hosted by the Queensland Police Service in conjunctoin with
the Australian Federal Police in Queensland in 2007.
The conference is an information sharing forum to develop strategies
aimed at reducing the negative effects of alcohol and other drug use.
Plenary sessions, panels and a number of concurrent sessions covering
diverse topics will be on offer.
With the conference attracting speakers from Australia and overseas,
streams will include supply reduction; harm reduction; demand
reduction; alcohol and other illicit drug use; and
research/intelligence/data management.
If you work in law enforcement or other professions in the drug and alcohol area attending this Conference is a must.
