The Healthy for Life and New Directions Mothers and Babies Services Conference will be held from 28-30 April 2010 at The Sebel and Citigate Hotel, King George Square, Brisbane, Queensland.
The conference is available to current Healthy for Life and New Directions Mothers and Babies Services organisations and will provide an opportunity for learning and information exchange about current best practice in population health approaches for child and maternal health care, early detection and management of chronic disease and men’s health.
Conference Participation
The Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (OATSIH) will cover the travel and accommodation costs for two (2) people from each service funded through the Healthy for Life and New Directions Mothers and Babies Services programs (one extra registration is available for each partnership/consortia for a designated Healthy for Life coordinator). Priority will be given to registrations from funded Healthy for Life and New Directions Mothers and Babies Services. Other registration requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and will be advised by the conference organiser, Carillon Conference Management, by Wednesday 31 March 2010.
