CLIMATE

The Gold Coast is located in the subtropics and enjoys a superb climate year round. October is the onset of summer on the Gold Coast; days are typically dry and sunny with approximately 7.5 hours of sunshine a day; and the nights are cool. Temperatures typically reach 24- 28 °C during the day and fall to approximately 15 - 20°C at night. Those travelling north will experience a progressively warmer climate where lighter clothing will be required.
