CCM was appointed to manage APMCDRR in 2019, as it was originally to have been held in 2020. The Covid pandemic caused the event to be postponed until 19 – 22 September, 2022.

APMCDRR was the first major international conference held in Australia after easing of Covid pandemic travel restrictions.

•    The conference was attended by over 4000 delegates, of which 3000 physically attended;
•    An immersive virtual conference experience was provided to delegates who could not travel to attend;
•    58 countries were represented;
•    36 International and 12 Australian (Federal and State) Ministers and Government Leaders participated;
•    CCM provided comprehensive management services across all facets of the event;
•    Special aspects of services provided by CCM included organising the Ministerial Forum, liaising on security arrangements for international dignitaries and providing a registration management platform that enabled remote vetting and approval;
•    CCM’s Premium App was deployed at APMCDRR with special enhancements to enable delegates to view multiple sessions, each in their choice of three languages and with or without text-to-screen.
