Accelerating Trusted Autonomous Systems Defence Symposium

In 2021 CCM presented the first in this series of symposia at the Ville Hotel and Conference Centre in Townsville, Australia. Townsville was chosen for the inaugural event given its large defence presence which was relevant to the Symposia topics.  Subsequent editions of the symposia have been held in Brisbane.  

• The 2021 Symposia was attended by some 300 (in person) representatives of Australia’s defence and security forces and defence industries;

• CCM provided comprehensive management services to all aspects of the event;

• CCM’s ConferCast system was deployed to provide an engaging digital attendance experience for additional delegates unable to travel to Townsville (some COVID travel restrictions still being in force at the time);

• The event included active displays of marine and air autonomous craft;

• CCM Director Ashley Gordon has acted as the Facilitator and Master of Ceremonies at every edition of the Symposium;

• CCM’s app was deployed and served as the program, abstract publication, delegate list and provided an interactive communication platform for delegates.
